Ouyen United Kangas celebrates Heritage Round honouring 43 merged clubs

The club, formed from 43 predecessor teams, held its Heritage Round at Blackburn Park in Ouyen to honour the clubs that merged into it.

• Norm Vallance, a 101-year-old former player for Kiamal, attended the Heritage Round event.
• Fel Cua, former Ouyen United president, created Heritage Round in 2024 to keep former club communities connected to the club.
• President Mick Pole said that preserving the link to the past is essential for the club's survival.
