The Egyptian charity announced it has installed 92,630 pure water connections for families in villages nationwide.

• The association said it completed 92,630 pure water connections so far, covering villages in most governorates with a concentration on Upper Egypt and disadvantaged areas.
• Director General Maj. Gen. Mandooh Shabaan stated that the water connection project is a top priority and is provided entirely free of charge to beneficiary families.
• Shabaan added that the project complements the association’s housing reconstruction efforts, as clean water is a necessary condition for decent housing.
• Shabaan explained that target families are selected through field research and social studies, with priority given to female breadwinners, persons with disabilities, and the most needy.
