Yemeni warplanes have launched more than 20 airstrikes on Houthi positions in Al Bayda, while Prime Minister Shaye'a Mohsen Al-Zandani warned of an Iranian-backed escalation.
- The Yemeni army said its jets struck Houthi fortifications, missile launch platforms and military communications in Al Bayda, including the Al-Sawadiyah camp and districts of Al-Zahir and Dhi Na'im.
- The Houthis announced that areas under their control were hit by 129 airstrikes in 48 hours across Taiz, Marib, Al Hudaydah, Al Jawf, Saada, Amran and Hajjah.
- Al-Zandani said the Houthi escalation is tied to an Iranian-sponsored agenda aimed at threatening regional stability and international navigation lines.
- Al-Zandani said the escalation will not disrupt state institutions or leave a vacuum for the Houthis, and affirmed a commitment to protecting civilians and displaced families.
