British defence secretary Wes Streeting urged the US to stand by Ukraine during a Washington visit amid tensions over Washington's restriction of Ukraine's military satellite access.
- Streeting, speaking ahead of a meeting with US counterpart Pete Hegseth, argued that supporting Ukraine was in Washington's long-term interests.
- Ukraine's military Starshield satellite connection has been restored days after Washington reportedly restricted the service, a Ukrainian defence ministry source said.
- SpaceX CEO Elon Musk denied involvement, stating the Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the disruption was not a technical problem and confirmed Kyiv had resumed attacks on Russian oil infrastructure.
