(opens the publisher’s site)A federal judge Tuesday sentenced real estate brokers Alon, Oren, and Tal Alexander to 30 years each for drugging and raping dozens of women.
- The brothers were convicted in March after a five-week trial on sex trafficking, conspiracy, and other charges.
- Twelve victims delivered statements Tuesday in the Manhattan federal courtroom, several urging the judge to impose life sentences.
- Oren Alexander told the court the brothers never drugged or raped anyone, as victims shook their heads.
- Prosecutors said more than 70 women reported being assaulted by the brothers over many years.
