- The CAF observer confirmed the 4:30 PM Cairo kickoff, rejecting Al-Merrikh Bentiu's request to move the match a half-hour earlier.
- The technical meeting agreed to a one-minute water break in the middle of each half due to high temperatures and humidity in Juba.
- Kit colors were fixed: Pyramids in blue and white with a full-green goalkeeper; Al-Merrikh Bentiu in full red with a green-and-black goalkeeper.
- Pyramids completed a one-hour training session in Juba, with coach Rulani Mokwena limiting workload over the heat, humidity, and artificial turf.
- Egypt's ON Sport channels will broadcast the match with Ayman El-Kashif as commentator, streamable via the ON Sport app and Kora Plus.
