England recall Mason Crane for Pakistan ODI tri-series
October 1, 2026 at 10:59 AM
England have recalled leg-spinner Mason Crane eight years after his only Test cap for the ODI tri-series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
- Crane, 29, earned his place on consistent Glamorgan performances, including two first-class centuries; his last England appearance came in 2018.
- Jos Buttler misses the trip with a hamstring tear and Jofra Archer is rested, while Adil Rashid and Sam Curran return from injury.
- England fly to Islamabad on 15 October; the top two sides meet in the final at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on 31 October.
- Selector Marcus North said Crane is a "high-class leg-spinner who thoroughly deserves another opportunity at international level."
