Guimarães reveals sleepless nights over leaving Newcastle for Arsenal

Bruno Guimarães says he had sleepless nights over his summer departure from Newcastle to Arsenal but ultimately wanted a new challenge.

• Guimarães left Newcastle for Arsenal in a £75m transfer this summer after four years at the club.
• He said he lost "many, many nights of sleep" over the decision and cried when saying goodbye to his teammates, but felt he needed a new challenge.
• Newcastle sporting director Ross Wilson said the club had no wish to sell, but Guimarães pushed to leave.
• He has scored twice for Arsenal, including his first goal for the club at Sunderland in September.
