The royal security committee Ravec will reassess Harry and Meghan's police protection after the family returned to live in the UK full-time.
- Ravec met last week and commissioned separate risk assessments of Prince Harry and Meghan, the first for Meghan since the couple stepped back as working royals in 2020.
- The Sussexes returned to the UK on 26 August, and their two children switched schools two days after starting over security concerns about the school run.
- Harry said in a witness statement that the UK is his home and that he is reluctant to put himself and his wife in harm's way on British soil.
- A letter issued on behalf of King Charles reiterated their status as non-working royals, describing them as "akin to private citizens with commercial and charitable interests."
