Kevin Pietersen has rejoined England's setup as a part-time specialist mentor to the white-ball teams, a role created by head coach Brendon McCullum.
- Pietersen revealed he will be "in and out" rather than full-time, saying he is now "a completely different person" from his playing days.
- He said his preconceptions of the England dressing room were "completely different" to the reality he has found since taking the job.
- Pietersen said he has spoken to incoming Test coach Stephen Fleming and Joe Root about helping Test batters before next summer's home Ashes series.
- He said his role may not end with the 50-over World Cup in South Africa, noting there is time before the Ashes and a tour of South Africa.
