President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has appointed new leadership for the Gargoub special economic zone authority through decree 424 of 2026.
- Sisi issued Decree 424 of 2026 on appointments to the Gargoub authority, published in the official gazette on Thursday.
- The decree appointed Ashraf Mohamed Ghazali as head of the authority for a one-year term.
- Diaa Ahmed Roshdy was appointed vice president for investment and Osama Saleh Mohamed Saleh vice president for projects.
- The decree sets the head's remuneration at minister level and the deputies' at deputy minister level.
