The lone juror who blocked a unanimous verdict in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial said he had no doubts that she deliberately planned her children's killings.
- Michael Desronvil said in a statement Thursday that physical evidence and witnesses proved Clancy "knew exactly what she was doing and planned" the killings.
- The judge declared a mistrial on 4 September after the jury, deadlocked 11-1, failed to reach a verdict following nearly 40 hours of deliberation.
- Jury foreperson Roni Carlson said Desronvil admitted having "reasonable doubt" before declining to vote not guilty by reason of insanity.
- Judge William F. Sullivan has set a hearing for 29 September, and prosecutors have not said whether they will retry Clancy.
