Two productions of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost have opened in the UK, one with flamenco at the Globe and another as part of a double-bill with Much Ado About Nothing.
- Indiana Lown-Collins is directing Love's Labour's Lost with flamenco choreography and music at Shakespeare's Globe in London.
- Lown-Collins stated that flamenco reflects the play's themes of passion, love, sex, and death, and that the matriarchy is central to flamenco.
- Tom Littler's double-bill of Love's Labour's Lost and Much Ado About Nothing premiered on July 12 at Braboeuf Manor in Guildford, with a cast of 10 actors playing 17 roles.
- The production merges the two plays into a single narrative set before and after World War II, and will later transfer to Richmond Hill.
