(opens the publisher’s site)Local Development Minister Manal Awad and New Valley Governor Hanan Magdy inaugurated the Utility Networks and Urban Planning Information Center in El Kharga on Sunday.
- The center, costing an estimated 15 million Egyptian pounds, opened during Awad's tour of development and environmental projects in the governorate.
- Awad said the center issues excavation and utility connection permits, executes surveying and land regularization work, and maps utility network locations.
- Awad stated the center unifies and updates utility data to support infrastructure management and urban planning.
- Magdy said the center employs 10 engineers, 3 technicians, and 6 administrators.
