Madbouly reviews market regulation, social protection ahead of Egypt Forum 2026

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a preparatory meeting Sunday for the "Market Regulation and a More Effective Social Protection System" session of Egypt Forum 2026, opening Monday.
- Madbouly met Sunday with the ministers of social solidarity, supply, and planning, along with the CAPMAS head, to finalize preparations for the forum session.
- The forum opens Monday at the New Administrative Capital and runs until October 24.
- Madbouly said the government will continue developing the social protection system and integrating its policies and programs to reach the most vulnerable groups.
- The meeting reviewed securing basic commodities, monitoring stock levels, intensifying market oversight, and countering monopolistic practices and price manipulation.
