Egypt reviews expatriate support with diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia

Egypt's Deputy Foreign Minister met with heads of Egyptian diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia to review conditions of the Egyptian community in the kingdom.

• Deputy Foreign Minister Nabil Habashi held a video conference Tuesday with heads of Egyptian diplomatic and consular missions in Saudi Arabia.
• The meeting reviewed the situation of Egyptian citizens in the kingdom and efforts to follow up on stranded citizens and facilitate their return.
• Participants agreed to add a hotline at the Consulate General in Jeddah and the Consulate in Riyadh.
• Habashi said the meeting came at the direction of Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty and stressed community members' compliance with Saudi authorities' instructions.
