Egypt enables electronic ration card data updates via digital platform

Egypt's Ministry of Supply announced citizens can now update ration card data electronically through the Egypt Digital platform without visiting supply offices.

• The Ministry of Supply enabled online ration card services — updating data, replacing lost cards, activating new cards, and adding family members.
• The ministry said accurate data updates are required for continued subsidy disbursement to eligible families.
• The ministry said only the family head can submit ration card requests through the Egypt Digital platform.
• The ministry said citizens with cards suspended over suspected property ownership can submit proof of non-ownership for case review.
