A BBC Panorama and Bureau for Investigative Journalism investigation has found Deloitte helped falsify documents to hide Roman Abramovich's wealth and evade tax.
- BBC Panorama and the Bureau for Investigative Journalism found hundreds of backdated documents from the Cyprus Confidential leak that concealed Abramovich's assets.
- Accounts signed off by Deloitte Cyprus made assets worth $672m, including yachts, mansions and jets, disappear from Abramovich's company accounts.
- Andrew Mitchell KC, an expert in financial services law, described the scheme as "straightforward" tax evasion.
- Abramovich's lawyers said he denies evading tax; Deloitte Cyprus said it acts in compliance with applicable laws.
