Louis Rees-Zammit demands end to artificial Premiership pitches after leg burns

Wales and Bristol winger Louis Rees-Zammit has called for an end to artificial pitches after posting an image of burns suffered at Saracens' StoneX Stadium.

• Rees-Zammit posted the graphic image with the caption "Can we please stop playing on these AstroTurf pitches!!".
• Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam rested Pedro Rubiolo, AJ MacGinty and Steven Luatua, saying their recent injuries made the artificial surface a risk.
• Saracens hooker Jamie George defended the StoneX pitch, saying it meets all rules and regulations.
