Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has chaired a meeting to review progress on a project to revive the Nazlet El-Samman area adjacent to the Giza Pyramids.
- Madbouly convened the meeting at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital with officials from the tourism, housing, antiquities and Giza governorate bodies.
- Project consultant Mohamed El-Khatib presented the detailed master plan for Nazlet El-Samman, describing it as an urban extension of a world heritage site with a stable local community.
- Madbouly said the plan is part of a comprehensive vision to upgrade tourism and hotel services in the area around the Pyramids.
- El-Khatib said the plan rests on six axes — preserving archaeological value, community participation, urban revival, connectivity, management and financing, and tourism development — coordinated among ministries, the Giza governorate, residents and the private sector.
