Seventh arrest made in RAF Fairford terrorism plot investigation

British counter-terrorism police have made a seventh arrest in the investigation into a suspected plot near RAF Fairford airbase.

• A 22-year-old British national was arrested in Westminster, London, on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts under the Terrorism Act 2006.
• All six men arrested previously in connection with the incident have been released on bail.
• Senior national coordinator Vicki Evans said the investigation remains live and police are pursuing multiple lines of inquiry.
• Iran's embassy in London denied involvement, rejecting what it called "unfounded and malicious speculations" of Iranian links.
