Family walk 29 miles to honour Maddy Cusack on third anniversary of death

Family and friends of late Sheffield United midfielder Maddy Cusack walked 29 miles on the third anniversary of her death as her inquest remains paused until December.
- Olivia Cusack and about 15 family and friends walked 29 miles from Bramall Lane to Horsley on Saturday to raise funds for the Maddy Cusack Foundation.
- An inquest into Cusack's death on 20 September 2023 was adjourned in July and will resume on 7 December after her former club was asked to find documents linked to her medical records.
- A minute's applause will be held before Sunday's Women's Super League 2 fixture between Newcastle and Sheffield United.
- Olivia Cusack said the long wait has been "confusing" and "frustrating," and that her sister "can't be at peace" until the inquest concludes.
