Cadillac driver Valtteri Bottas arrived in Singapore on Wednesday after cycling roughly 419km from Malaysia instead of flying from last weekend's Grand Prix.
- Bottas began the four-day ride hours after spinning out of Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix, held at Malaysia's Sepang circuit, covering off-road trails and cycling at night.
- Bottas said he saw a cobra and a python, jumped over a lizard, and was chased by a dog during the journey.
- The ride was inspired by Bottas's wife, Australian Olympic cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, who suggested he cycle the route.
- Bottas said the journey's virality surprised him, adding that he loves endurance events.
