Egypt reviews preparations for Sisi's conference and economic transformation program

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired a meeting on preparations for President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's conference and the national economic transformation program.

• Madbouly convened the meeting with Finance Minister Ahmed Kojak, Investment Minister Mohamed Farid Saleh, and Planning Minister Ahmed Rostom.
• Madbouly said the meeting follows up on government preparations for the conference Sisi called, scheduled next month to answer public questions and explain past achievements.
• Spokesperson Counselor Mohamed Adel said the conference will be a national space for dialogue bringing together state institutions, experts, academics, and the private sector.
• Adel said the meeting reviewed a proposal of the conference's main axes and developments in the economic transformation program.
