ON Sport acquires broadcast rights for Al Ahly's Confederation Cup opener against Kitara

Egyptian channel network On Sport said it will broadcast the first leg of Al Ahly's African Confederation Cup tie against Uganda's Kitara on Saturday.

• On Sport announced it secured the match's broadcast rights and will air it live with an analytical studio starting one hour before kickoff.
• The first leg takes place Saturday at 4pm Cairo time at Uganda's Hoima Stadium in the competition's second preliminary round.
• Al Ahly's board, chaired by Mahmoud El Khatib, confirmed the club's channel holds exclusive rights to the return leg at Cairo Stadium on October 25.
• Kitara president Deo Kasozi said weeks ago that several networks had made large offers for rights to the match.
