Egypt launches direct BRT service between Alexandria Agricultural and Sun Capital

Egypt's Ministry of Transport has launched direct BRT bus service linking Alexandria Agricultural and Sun Capital stations, effective Thursday October 8.

• The ministry announced direct BRT operation between Alexandria Agricultural and Sun Capital stations in both directions starting Thursday.
• Buses run at 10-minute intervals, and the ministry cancelled waiting time at Golf station to shorten journeys.
• The second phase added 14 new stations, bringing the ring-road BRT network to 30 stations.
• Ticket prices range from 5 to 35 Egyptian pounds depending on the number of stations traveled.
• The BRT operator said the phase-two route spans 40 kilometers, linking southern and eastern Cairo to Giza.
