Spain's National Sports Council has asked the Administrative Sports Court to weigh whether La Liga president Javier Tebas's comments on Real Madrid constitute a serious violation.
- The CSD submitted a formal request to the Administrative Sports Court on Thursday over Tebas's comments, acting on its own initiative.
- Tebas, also vice-president of the Spanish football federation, posted on X on October 16 comparing Real Madrid's media methods to Goebbels' Nazi propaganda tactics.
- The council cited article 76.4.b of Spain's Sports Law 10/1990, which classifies public acts undermining sports dignity as serious violations.
- The CSD said the referral does not represent a prior conviction of Tebas.
