Egypt digitizes replacement ration card applications

Egypt's Ministry of Supply has enabled citizens to apply online for replacement ration cards through the Egypt Digital Platform.

• The Ministry of Supply began accepting applications for replacement lost or damaged ration cards via the Egypt Digital Platform.
• Applicants must select the supply services section, choose the replacement card service, and submit their data electronically.
• The ministry limited the service to the card's owner, the head of household, eligible for supply support and not subject to exclusion.
• The ministry also announced that newborns can be added to ration cards through the same digital platform.
