Al Ahly keeps contact with Nordsjaelland's Ibrahim Adel; January signing called difficult

A club source said Al Ahly has kept communication with Nordsjaelland's Ibrahim Adel but faces obstacles to signing him in the January window.

• A club source said Al Ahly's January priorities are a local center-back and a foreign midfielder to replace Reda Slim.
• The source said the Adel case depends on Al Ahly renewing Ashraf Ben Sharqi's contract and will not be decided before January.
• The source said a winter move for Adel is difficult, though the player remains on the club's list of targets.
