Egyptian, Syrian ministers meet on World Bank sidelines in Bangkok

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met Syrian Finance Minister Mohammad Yaser Barnia in Bangkok to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.

• The two ministers met Friday on the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank annual meetings in Bangkok.
• They discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in the areas of economic and financial cooperation.
• Foreign Ministry spokesman Nader Zaki said preparations are underway for Abdelatty to visit Damascus in the coming period.
